I always prefere to use a graduated neutral density filter instead HDR software. I achieve better results, and spend more time out in the field and less time at the computer.

I have tested a Feisol CT-3372 carbon fiber tripod with a Gimbal Photoseiki head and my Nikkor AFS 500mm+1,4x. It's a very sturdy system and I'm happy of my choice. Tripod has large leg sections (more than Gitzo 3530). Gimbal Photoseiki is very fluid and precise. Flying birds are very sharp in my images. Best!
