I was born in Italy on 1960 and I grew up with the landscape of Gulf of Naples and Vesuvio in front of my eyes.

When I was 12, an uncle of mine gifts me a Ferrania point-and-shoot camera, but I losed it just during the same day: it was nota fine debut! Later my father lets me use his Zeiss Continette and when I was 17 I purchased my first reflex camera, a less expensive Zenith, and I began to learn photography.

I graduated in biological sciences and carried out scientific researches about biological conservation. My first photographic works were to document my researches and later photography has become a new activity.

I studied photography at New York Institute of Photography, and specialized my digital techniques by partecipating to seminars and courses (among them those by Adobe).

At the beginning, I collaborated with photographic agencies, later I began a freelance activity. I realized international reportages for magazines, among them the american Beautiful Itineraries.

My main activity now concerns with documentary and editorial photography.
